Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Babysitter in Vandalia.

A lovely family in Vandalia is looking for a dependable, engaging babysitter to care for their 15 month old when staying home from daycare due to illness. The family also has an almost 4 year old who will typically not need care, but may be in the home. Needs will almost always be on weekdays between the hours of 12:30 and 4:30pm and may arise with short notice.

• Schedule: As-needed on weekdays between the hours of 12:30 and 4:30pm *no guaranteed hours - family may need care a few times each month - needs will be sporadic*
• When care is needed, the family will need at least 4 hours of care at a time
• Family is hoping for a long term fit
• 1 child - 15 months old
• Rate: $15-18/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sick care of one 15 month old child
• Engaging, interacting, providing all aspects of infant care
• Meals and snacks as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Must be comfortable with family’s 2 friendly dogs

Compensation: Position pays $15-18 per hour and the family is looking for intermittent, as-needed care long term **no guaranteed hours**
